On the reverse side of all 6 coins is the solemn commitment shown above which speaks for itself. The laurel wreath surrounding the inscription traditionally represents Honor and Distinction and is joined together with a ribbon representing those warriors who paid the supreme sacrifice. The 5 stars represent the 5 branches of the armed services of the United States. The antique bronze was purposely chosen to match the majority of the citations, awards, campaign medals and commendations when displayed in a shadow box.
With over 20 million veterans, all should be recognized as true warriors and be a recipient of this coin. A perfect memento for reunions, special veteran events, relatives, friends or even strangers who have served honorably.
The Vetcoin was designed exclusively to honor American Veterans from all branches of service, both men and women, who have served so honorably in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as stations, posts, bases and aboard ships around the world.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Vetcoin will be used for scholarship awards to children and dependents of those killed in action or permanently disabled. This project is a Veterans helping Veterans effort.
